The meeting focused on opportunities for investment in Kazakhstan, localization of production, creation of joint ventures, and expansion into Central Asian markets. The Kazakh side presented state support measures, tax incentives, and Kazakhstan’s “one-stop-shop” investor service framework.
During the meeting, Madiyar Sultanbek emphasized that Kazakhstan is interested in sustainable, long-term partnerships, especially with technologically advanced countries such as Singapore. He noted that current initiatives offer broad opportunities to integrate modern solutions into urban and social infrastructure development.
“For us, it is important not just to attract capital, but to build systematic partnerships with global players. Singaporean companies have a high level of technological sophistication and mature export strategies that can be successfully adapted to the Kazakh market. Kazakhstan is looking for partners who are not just entering the market, but who are ready to build a sustainable industrial and innovation base here,” he said.
As part of the delegation’s visit, meetings are scheduled in Astana and Almaty with government bodies, relevant ministries, business associations, as well as visits to industrial sites and educational institutions.
The mission is coordinated by the Singapore Business Federation with the support of Enterprise Singapore and KAZAKH INVEST. The meeting marked an important step toward strengthening business ties between Kazakhstan and Singapore and opens new horizons for mutually beneficial cooperation.
